LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) -

Two men who were detained and questioned in the abduction of a woman in Lancaster have been released.

Lancaster Police Lt. Todd Umstead said investigators have no reason to believe the men were involved in the kidnapping that led to a search of Lancaster County Central Park, where the woman was found in a car trunk Tuesday morning.

The men were detained after they ran from an officer involved in the six-hour search. It is not known why they fled.

Umstead said police continue to investigate the incident. They have not yet determined exactly where, and why, the woman was abducted.

The 33-year-old called 911 with a cell phone and said she had been forced into a car trunk by two men somewhere in the city.

Police tracked the call and found the victim in a red Chrysler sedan parked in the Kiwanis area of the park about 15-20 minutes later.

She was treated at a hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
