Roanoke, VA - A portion of a new roof of the Roanoke Civic Center got flooded Thursday on purpose!
A fire crew flooded a section of the roof over the Exhibition Hall that recently underwent waterproofing to test it for leaks.
It's part of a four month job to end the leaks in that section of the roof.
The work is part of $1.2 million worth of capital improvements being done this year at the Civic Center complex.
