FAYETTEVILLE, Pa. (WHTM) -

State police in Chambersburg have announced charges against a Fayetteville man accused of child sexual abuse.

Jason Shawn Carey, 32, faces two first-degree felony counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child, three third-degree felony counts of corruption of minors, and three misdemeanor counts of indecent assault.

Police said juveniles made allegations earlier this month that Carey had sexual contact with them, and an investigation revealed that he had sexually abused three children between 4 to 11 years old.

Carey was interviewed and confessed to the allegations, police said.

He was sent to the Franklin County Prison on $100,000 bail and is awaiting a preliminary hearing scheduled for May 30.
