HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

A man died at a hospital after he was shot multiple times in Harrisburg on Monday night.

City police said the unidentified man was shot in the chest, and may have been in his 20s or 30s.

The victim was found lying in the street after the shooting happened around 8:45 p.m. in the 300 block of Muench Street.

Investigators canvassed the area for several hours and were seen closely examining a Dodge car with Ohio license plates that was parked on Muench. No further information was made available about the search.

No suspect is in custody at this time, however, Harrisburg Police Chief Pierre Ritter said investigators believe the shooting may have been an isolated incident. He also told residents to remain vigilant.

The fatal shooting is Harrisburg's second homicide this month and the city's ninth homicide this year.
