Lebanon police warn of increase in theft from vehicles
LEBANON, Pa. (WHTM) -
Lebanon City Police are warning residents about an increase in items being stolen from vehicles across the city in the past week.
Many of the stolen items, such as purses, cellphones or GPS devices, were visible from the exterior of
the vehicle when they were stolen. Many of vehicles were also unlocked when the thefts occurred.
"Police are reminding residents and visitors to conceal items of value in their vehicles or remove them completely, and to lock their vehicles at all times when the vehicle is left unattended," according to a press release.
City police are also requesting that residents report any suspicious activity as soon as they see it.
