LEBANON, Pa. (WHTM) -

Saturday morning crews were called to the scene of an emergency plane landing in North Lebanon Township.

The single engine plane seated two, 36-year-old Mark Houck of Fredericksburg and his son.

Just before nine the small aircraft started smoking. Officials say the engine failed and the pilot lost power.

Houck made an emergency landing in a field along Elias Avenue near Heilmandale Road. During the landing the plane flipped upside down.

Houck and his son were taken to Good Samaritan Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
