A Virginia truck driver has been charged in a November crash that killed a Lancaster County man and his 2-year-old son.
Mawuyrayrassuna E. Yaogan Noviho, 22, of Newport News, was charged Friday with two counts of homicide vehicle, one count of aggravated assault by vehicle, and five summary offenses, according to online court documents.
Joshua A. West, 40, of Denver, and his 2-year-old son died November 12 after their vehicle crashed into Noviho's tractor-trailer and overturned on Route 222 near Landis Valley Road in Manheim Township.
West's wife, 37-year-old Katie M. West, and their 4-year-old daughter were injured.
The summary charges against Noviho allege that he was traveling too slow for conditions and below the minimum speed limit, and failed to move the slow-moving truck off the roadway.
