LEBANON, Pa. (WHTM) -

A Lebanon man has been jailed on allegations he tried to rob two women in the area of Quince and Walnut streets on Saturday night.

Jimmy Colondres-Lopez, 20, was charged with robbery and possession of drug paraphernalia before he was placed in the Lebanon County Prison on $30,000 bail, city police said.

The 19-year-old victim told officers she was walking with a female friend when a man approached them, grabbed her arm and demanded her valuables while holding his shirt up over his face, police said.

The woman broke free from his grasp and her 19-year-old friend threw her drink on him before the two ran, police said.

No weapons were displayed and the victim and her friend were not injured.

Colondres-Lopez had a marijuana pipe on him when he was found by patrol officers in the 300 block of Willow Street a short time later, police said.
