Reality shows are all the rage these days, and the newest reality show on ABC stars a Cumberland County man.
The show will have you asking 'Whodunnit?'
Ulysses Wilson of Mechanicsburg was picked to be on the show. The attorney by day spent five weeks in Los Angeles filming the murder mystery. He joined a cast of 13 characters who will try to figure out 'Whodunnit.'
A prize of $250,000 is on the line, and it was all top secret.
"It's a combination of 'CSI' meets 'Clue' meets 'The Mole.' Thirteen strangers showed up at this mansion in Beverly Hills, and one of us is the killer," Ulysses said.
How Ulysses was picked for the show was perhaps a twist of fate. He and his wife were on vacation playing cards with a man who turned out to be a casting agent for ABC.
"Before we went down to the casino, I said to him, 'You're gonna win a poker tournament, but I'm gonna get you a reality show.' We knew he was a casting director," said Rachel Wilson.
Although Ulysses is being tight lipped about 'Whodunnit?,' he knows exactly what he would do with the 250 grand if he wins.
"I would either make a responsible choice and add to the kids college funds or be completely irresponsible and just buy a Porsche!" he said.
'Whodunnit?' premieres Sunday, June 23 at 9 p.m. There are nine episodes to find out 'Whodunnit.'
