U.S. Marshals said they arrested a teenager who stole a vehicle at gunpoint in Berks County two months ago and then crashed it in Columbia during a high speed chase.
Vincent Kevin Fenner, 17, of Leesport, was taken into custody early Thursday in the 300 block of West Main Street in Dallastown, the agency said Friday.
Fenner is accused of stealing the vehicle at gunpoint as the owner was leaving his job in Cumru Township the evening of April 15.
The stolen vehicle was spotted in Manheim Township in Lancaster County later in the evening, and officers pursued Fenner until he crashed into a parked car in Columbia. He fled and managed to elude police officers, authorities said.
Fenner has been charged with five counts of robbery and one count each of possession of firearm by a minor, terroristic threats, simple assault, theft, and receiving stolen property.
