HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

Harrisburg police have identified a Harrisburg man wanted for a shooting incident this week outside the Club 1400 bar in the 200 block of Calder Street.

Charles "Boo" West, 43, has been charged with attempted homicide, aggravated assault, and carrying a firearm without a license, but remains at large, city police said in a news release.

Police said West was upset and threatened to kill an acquaintance while talking to him outside the bar.

He then fired a single shot at the unidentified 31-year-old man, wounding him in the left shoulder, police said.

The victim was taken to the Harrisburg Hospital for treatment.

Anyone with information on West's whereabouts is asked to call Harrisburg police at 717-255-7299 or 717-255-3114.
