Danville, Va. (AP) - More than 160 derelict properties in Danville could be demolished under a proposal before City Council.
The project would clear a backlog of 166 properties targeted for demolition at a cost of about $2 million.
City manager Joe King is proposing using excess funds to cover the cost.
Danville City council is scheduled to vote on the project during its meeting Tuesday night.
