Harrisburg police ID man found dead in apartment

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

Harrisburg police have released the name of a man found dead in his city apartment building Tuesday afternoon.

Michael Haile, 28, was found by members of a cleaning service at the Grayco Apartments at 15 North Street, police said in a news release.

Haile apparently had arranged to have his apartment professionally cleaned and made an appointment, and the cleaning team arrived shortly after noon and found the apartment door unlocked, police said. The body was discovered and the cleaners alerted Grayco officials and police.

Haile had a small cut on the side of his head that may have been caused by a fall, but the body had no outward signs of trauma and the cause of death was not apparent when an autopsy was conducted this morning, police said.

The autopsy results are pending the results of toxicology tests, which could take several weeks.
