Mountville man says he was robbed while jogging

MOUNTVILLE, Pa. (WHTM) -

A Mountville man told police he was robbed at gunpoint while jogging Tuesday evening.

West Hempfield Township police said the 24-year-old victim told officers that two men got out of a beige sedan while he was in the area of Huntington and Spring Hill lanes, and that one of them displayed a handgun and demanded his wallet.

The victim had his cell phone stolen and was not harmed, police said.

He described the robbers as white men in their 20's, with short brown hair, tattoos on their forearms, and wearing black T-shirts, police said.

Investigators believe a third person was driving the car.

Anyone with information may call the West Hempfield Township Police Department at 717-285-5191.
