Lebanon man charged with sexual assault on 2 girls

LEBANON, Pa. (WHTM) -

The Lebanon County Detective Bureau has filed charges against a Lebanon area man accused of sexually abusing two girls who were 11 and 12 years old.

Edward Paul Fidler, 53, no fixed address, allegedly subjected the children to unlawful sexual contact in unrelated incidents, authorities said in a news release Wednesday.

A criminal complaint filed June 7 charged Fidler with involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, aggravated indecent assault, indecent assault, endangering welfare of children and corruption of minors involving the first child.

He was arraigned and ordered held in the Lebanon County Correctional Facility on $250,000 bail.

A second complaint filed June 19 charged Fidler with involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, aggravated indecent assault, indecent assault, endangering welfare of children and corruption of minors involving the second child.

He was arraigned and ordered held in the Lebanon County Correctional Facility on additional bail of $250,000.

Preliminary hearing dates have been set for July 18.
