Suspect arrested in 2 bank robberies

ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. (WHTM) -

A Peach Bottom man has been arrested for bank robberies in Lancaster and York counties.

Damon G. Lonsinger, 36, was taken into custody without incident late Friday as he returned from Florida to Harrisburg International Airport, according to Northwest Regional police.

Lonsinger has been charged with the robberies of Fulton Bank branches in Elizabethtown on May 29 and in York Township on June 11.

He is also a suspect in additional bank robberies in the York area, police said.

He was sent to Lancaster County Prison on $5,000 cash bail.

A preliminary hearing was scheduled for June 28.
