LURGAN, Pa. (WHTM) -
This article has been updated to correct an error stating that the crash occurred in York County.

A car crashed into a Franklin County barn Sunday in order to avoid hitting a turning car, according to state police.

The driver, Brittany Ryder, 20, was traveling east on the 9000 block of Newburg Road just before 2 p.m. when a vehicle in the opposing lane attempted to turn into a driveway.

Ryder was unable to stop in time and avoided the car by leaving the roadway and driving across the driveway. The car then went airborne and came to rest inside the barn.

Neither Ryder nor her two juvenile passengers were injured in the crash.
