A 19-year-old Grantville man has been charged in a stabbing incident that sent a 25-year-old Lebanon man to a hospital early Wednesday.
Joshua Allen Kreiser, 19, is accused of stabbing the unidentified man in an apartment at 145 Weavertown Terrace, then using a knife to hold a female
resident and witness to the crime against her will, according to North Lebanon Township police.
Kreiser was charged Thursday with aggravated assault, reckless endangerment, false imprisonment, simple assault and terrorist threats.
He was being held in Lebanon County Prison on $100,000 cash bail. A preliminary hearing was scheduled for July 5.
Police said the victim sustained a single stab wound to his lower right back. He was treated at Penn State Hershey Medical Center, and his wound was not believed to be life threatening.
The incident is still being investigated.
Lebanon City police reported Wednesday that officers were dispatched to an apartment in the 100 block of N. 8th Street for an assault victim just after 3 a.m.
The man told officers he had been stabbed in the city, but police said they determined that the incident occurred in North Lebanon Township.
The knife used in the incident was
recovered, along with bloody clothing, at the Weavertown
Terrace apartment, police said.
