SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

A Shippensburg man was charged a seventh time for driving with a suspended license when he showed up at the police station to file a complaint.

Shippensburg police said 31-year-old David Bitner wanted to make a noise complaint when he drove to the station early Wednesday and then met officers in the 100 block of E. Orange Street.

After driving up to the officers to give them the information, police investigated the noise complaint and later discovered that Bitner's license had been suspended and that he had six prior driving under suspension convictions, authorities said.

He faces a mandatory $1,000 fine and 30 days to six months in jail.
