Harrisburg man charged in Lebanon woman's crash death

LEBANON, Pa. (WHTM) -

A Harrisburg man has been charged with homicide by vehicle while DUI for a single-vehicle crash that killed his passenger in Lebanon County earlier this year.

Steven N. Rivera, 21, was additionally charged by North Cornwall Township police Wednesday with homicide by vehicle, driving under the influence of a controlled substance, and involuntary manslaughter, according to court documents.

Rivera's passenger, 34-year-old Danielle E. Sides of Lebanon, died after his vehicle overturned on Colebrook Road, in an S-curve between Mill Road and Creekside Drive north of Quentin village, on January 24.

Rivera was not injured in the crash.

He has been jailed in Lebanon County Prison on $25,000 cash bail. A preliminary hearing was scheduled for July 5.
