Swatara Township police arrest 3 in prostitution bust

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

Police in Swatara Township, Dauphin County said they have arrested three people on prostitution charges.

The arrests were made Thursday evening by Swatara Township detectives and agents from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Human Trafficking Task Force, who conducted an enforcement detail in township hotels.

Police said the detail resulted in the arrests of 31-year-old Monique Korte of Mount Carmel and 52-year-old Marlene McEwan of Brooklyn, N.Y. for prostitution, and the arrest of 63-year-old David Baer of Harrisburg for soliciting prostitution.
