State police investigate safe theft in Lancaster Co.

INTERCOURSE, Pa. (WHTM) -

State police in Lancaster County are investigating the theft of a safe containing about $800.

Sometime between 6 p.m. on June 26 and 7 a.m. on June 27, someone broke into a fudge shop along the 3500 block of Old Philadelphia Pike in Leacock Township.

Police said the burglar stole a black safe that was bolted to the floor with around $800 in cash. Nothing else was taken, and the burglar didn't damage anything inside.

State police are still investigating this incident.
