LEBANON, Pa. (WHTM) -

Police have charged 19-year-old Wilfredo Rivera-Rodriguez following a violent road rage incident in Lebanon.

Authorities said that a 28-year-old man from North Lebanon Township called police to report a driver with road rage in the area of 12th and Church streets on May 3 at around 4:40 p.m.

The victim said he was driving through the intersection at 10th and Willow streets when another vehicle failed to stop for the flashing red light.

He told police that he yelled for the driver to slow down, and the driver immediately stopped his vehicle and exited holding a bat. The caller said he drove away, and the other driver threw the bat at his vehicle, damaging the bumper.

Following an investigation, police charged Rivera-Rodriguez with criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and driving while operating privilege is suspended.
