LEBANON, Pa. (WHTM) -

A Lebanon County man will spend seven months to two years in prison for making thousands of lewd and harassing telephone calls to women in four states.

Robert John Glass, 52, of Myerstown, received his sentence Wednesday.

Glass last month pleaded guilty to 30 counts of harassment by communications and one count of stalking.

Prosecutors said he made more than 17,000 lewd phone calls to at least 75 women in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia and New Jersey during a 108-day period between August and December 18, 2012.

Glass called one woman more than 100 times, and a 13-year-old girl described his comments as so lewd that she would not repeat them, according to authorities.

Police have said Glass likely picked the women's names at random from a telephone directory.
