There are some great outdoor events going on this Fourth of July weekend.
Things kick off with Friday Cheers in Lynchburg. The Worx will be on stage playing top 40 hits and rock music starting at 6 p.m.. Then it's what we've all been waiting for: The fireworks! Those will start around 9:15 p.m.
In Bedford, there will also be fireworks Friday night at the Moose Lodge off 460.
The Salem Fair will be open until July 14! It's back this year with new rides and attractions at the Salem Civic Center. The fair brings out about 300,000 people every year. So if you love rides, classic festival food and shows,you don't want to miss it!
DeVault Family Vineyards is putting on the 3rd Annual Watermelon Festival. Come out for some refreshing watermelon as you enjoy live music and great company. Several area wineries and breweries will also be there. That's Saturday and Sunday.
