1 injured after vehicle, train collided in Franklin Co.

GREENCASTLE, Pa. (WHTM) -

One person was injured when a truck pulled into the path of a train near Greencastle, Franklin County this afternoon.

Franklin County Dispatchers said the accident happened around 2:41 p.m. on Mason Road in Antrim Township. The train was owned by Norfolk Southern.

The driver of the Ford E350 truck, a 49-year-old man from Greencastle, was flown to York Hospital.  The extent of his injuries is not know at this time.

As of 4:05 p.m., the fire department had cleared the scene and turned it over to State Police.

There were no detours or road closures.
