1 juvenile, 2 women, 18, charged with Harrisburg arson

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

Two 18-year-old women and a 13-year-old girl have been charged with setting two house fires in Harrisburg Monday that displaced 18 people.

Alexis Poteat and Aliah Alli were charged and arrested Thursday. Poteat faces two charges of arson, risking a catastrophe and conspiracy. Alli also faces two counts of conspiracy.

A total of eight homes were damaged on Susquehanna Street; four homes were damaged on Penn Street.

Officials say the third suspect, a 13-year-old girl from Harrisburg will be surrendered by her family tomorrow. Police say she will be charged as a juvenile.

At this time the motive behind the fires is unclear.
