LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) -

A 16-year-old boy told police he was robbed of the electronic book reader he was trying to sell over the Internet when he met with a man who had posed as a possible buyer.

Manheim Township police said they have arrested 23-year-old Deon Westbrook for the robbery Monday in the 1700 block of Judie Lane in Lancaster Township.

Westbrook was looking at the Kindle when he suddenly pushed the 16-year-old seller and left with the device, police said.

Police said they were able to track the phone number Westbrook used and the victim later picked him out of a photo lineup.

Westbrook then contacted the victim's father and wanted to return the Kindle if they would drop charges, and a police officer - acting as the victim's father - agreed to meet him at a certain location where Westbrook was taken into custody, police said.

He was charged with robbery and theft as well as a detainer from probation and parole, police said. An additional charge of intimidation of a witness was also filed.
