York police said they seized more than $40,000 worth of heroin and arrested two city men during a drug bust Tuesday.
David Greg Williams, 29, had 1,314 bags of heroin with a street value of $26,280 when he was arrested in the area of Girard Avenue and Prospect Street, while 42-year-old Malcolm Ross had 728 bags of heroin with a street value of $14,560, police said.
Ross was charged with one count of possession with the intent to deliver heroin.
Williams was charged with two counts of possession with the intent to deliver heroin, three counts of aggravated assault on a police officer, and a state parole warrant.
The York Dispatch reported that Williams rammed his vehicle into an unmarked police car with three officers inside before he was tackled during a foot pursuit.
The officers were not harmed.
