YORK, Pa. (WHTM) -

A 17-year-old has been charged in connection with burglaries at two auto businesses in York County and the theft of two vehicles at one of the locations.

Spring Garden Township police said they charged the unidentified teenager with two counts each of burglary, theft, receiving stolen property and criminal conspiracy.

The teen is accused in a burglary between Tuesday night and Wednesday morning at Spring Garden Pre-Owned Car Dealership, at 1774 South Queen Street, where burglars broke a window to get inside and took a 2001 BMW 325i sedan valued at $4,795 and a 1997 Audi A4 sedan.

The Audi was located at the scene of the second break-in early Thursday at Ankers Garage, at 1006 Mount Rose Avenue, where responding officers arrived to find one person climbing out a rear window.

Two male juveniles were eventually taken into custody at the business.

Police said the investigation into both crimes is ongoing and more arrests are anticipated.
