Verizon service has been restored to customers in the Midstate following an outage since 5 p.m. on Friday.
A downed tree in the Harrisburg area cut a fiber optic line, causing a massive outage that affected customers in Cumberland, Dauphin, York, Franklin and Adams counties.A Verizon spokesman told abc27 that crews were working around the clock to resolve the problem.Service was restored as of 10 a.m. on Saturday.
