Manchester, NH – Jimmy VanOstrand's two-run double capped a three-run third inning, but the New Hampshire Fisher Cats came back to defeat the Harrisburg Senators 4-3 at Northeast Delta Dental Stadium.
Destin Hood doubled to lead off the third, before Brian Jeroloman and Brian Goodwin each walked to load the bases. Two batters later, VanOstrand delivered his double, and Justin Bloxom also brought in a run with an RBI groundout.
New Hampshire bounced back with runs in the bottom of the third and fifth innings. Adam Loewen drove in both with a home run and a single. They rallied for two more in the eighth to go in front. Brad Glenn led off with his 15th home run of the season. Then, with two out in the inning Gabe Jacobo singled to center but came around to score on two Senators errors, as the ball rolled all the way to the wall.
Taylor Hill tossed six and two-thirds innings and scattered nine hits, but limited the damage to two runs. The right-hander walked one and struck out four, taking a no-decision.
