A man and a woman have been charged with reckless endangerment after state police say they fired a pistol at a target without a back stop to capture bullets.
Officials said the pair were firing at a target on Mercersburg Road in Peters Township at around 2:45 p.m. on Sunday.
According to police, the bullets went into a corn field and past a home occupied by a 58-year-old man and a 53-year-old woman.
The accused were charged with reckless endangering.
