Police investigating the armed robbery of a Lancaster County truck stop last week have released a surveillance photo of one of the three masked gunmen sought in the crime.
The robbery occurred during the early morning of July 18 at the Citgo gas station and truck stop at 54 Gap Newport Pike in Sadsbury Township.
State police in Lancaster said all three robbers had shotguns, but only one entered the store. That man pointed a shotgun at the clerk, opened a backpack on the counter and demanded money.
The man who entered the store was described as a white male, about 5'10" tall with an athletic build. He was wearing blue jeans, a black long sleeve shirt, and a black balaclava-type mask with a large logo on the forehead, police said.
His accomplices were said to be white males; one about 5'10" and the other standing about 6'0" tall, according to police.
The backpack was royal blue on the front with a black front pocket lined in white, a black back and straps, and possibly still had a white price tag attached to the top handle, police said.
