Pedestrian struck in Lancaster

LANCASTER, Pa. (WHTM) -

Lancaster police said they are working to verify the identity of a pedestrian who was struck and seriously injured early Friday.

The person was struck while crossing the 600 block of W. Orange Street at around 4 a.m.

Police said both the pedestrian and the driver were transported to hospitals to be treated for injuries received in the crash.

The pedestrian sustained very serious injuries, and the driver sustained minor facial injuries.
