ELIZABETHVILLE, Pa. (WHTM) -

An Elizabethville man has been charged for burglarizing a home twice in one night and for thefts from vehicles in the Dauphin County borough.

Brock David Gemberling, 32, was seen by a resident as he broke into the home in the first block of S. Market Street through an unlocked window, state police in Lykens said.

Gemberling went into the home and stole prescription medicine shortly after midnight Friday, then returned less than five hours later and took $120 in cash, police said.

He had the prescription medicine on him when he was arrested that night at an Elizabethville store, where he allegedly was trying to exchange the drugs for a ride, police said.

Gemberling was additionally charged for fighting the state trooper who searched him, police said.

Police said he was also seen breaking into vehicles parked along the 200 block of Spruce Street.

Gemberling was charged with two counts of burglary, two counts of theft from a vehicle, criminal trespass, theft, receiving stolen property, and loitering and prowling at night.

For the three combined incidents, his bail at Dauphin County Prison was set at $75,000.
