The search for a missing teen in Cumberland County has been drastically scaled back. Investigators now say they don't believe the 13-year-old girl is in any danger.
Last night, a state police helicopter along with firefighters with thermal imaging cameras canvassed East Pennsboro Township.
It started when dispatchers got a call from people on Acri Road saying they heard a girl screaming for help and running through the woods. They say she was being chased by a man. Officers scaled back the search after re-interviewing witnesses. They now say it was not quite as serious as they thought.
However, police are still looking for the teen. Anyone with information should give them a call.
