PennDOT has announced that lane restrictions along Route 322 near Lewistown will impact Penn State University's Move-In Days and the Sept. 7 football game.
Officials are reminding students and parents that PennDOT's Route 322 construction zone stretches from Burnham to Reedsville in Mifflin County with eastbound and westbound lanes restricted to one lane each direction.
Lane width is restricted to 10 feet.
Drivers traveling to Penn State University in State College should be prepared for slowed traffic and travel delays as they move through the area.
This traffic pattern will be in effect through early September and will impact travel to the first Penn State home football game on Sept. 7.
Authorities said drivers should allow for extra travel time, move through construction zones with caution, allow for extra space between vehicles, obey posted speed limits and always buckle up.
