Police in Springettsbury Township, York County said they cited 34 drivers for speeding as part of a statewide crackdown on aggressive driving along Route 30.
The highest speed recorded by officers in the 40 mph speed limit zone near North Hills Road was 74 mph, police said Tuesday.
Police conducted two enforcement details on Route 30 westbound in the area.
Two people were cited for driving with a suspended license, police said.
Pennsylvania police departments from Ohio to the New Jersey state line took part in the enforcement initiative last month.
Pennsylvania State Police and PennDOT said Route 30 has seen nearly 9,800 crashes and 96 fatalities since 2008.
