UPDATE: Amber Alert canceled for missing Pa. boy

WILKES-BARRE, Pa. (WHTM) -

UPDATE:

At 7:45 a.m. the Amber Alert was canceled.  State police said the boy has been located.

PREVIOUSLY REPORTED:

An Amber Alert has been issued for a 4-year-old Pennsylvania boy who is believed to have been abducted from his home in Edwardsville, Luzerne County.  The town is two miles west of Wilkes-Barre.

Police said the boy, Michael Appel, was taken from the home by his father, Michael Appel, Sr., 23,  sometime between 10 p.m. Tuesday and 5:30 a.m. Wednesday.

The boy is described as a white male, 3' 7", 47 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes.  It's believed the father and son are traveling in a silver Ford Explorer with a Pa. license plate GCK4470.
