Police said they arrested a suburban Harrisburg woman for public intoxication and endangering the welfare of a child after she passed out while babysitting a young girl.
Susquehanna Township police said they responded to the 500 block of Alta Vista Avenue on Monday afternoon for a report of an unresponsive woman in the front yard with a small child crying over top of her.
The woman, identified by police as 52-year-old Anne Dido, was supposed to be watching the girl, who is her 2-year-old granddaughter, police said.
She was processed and released pending a summons. A preliminary hearing was scheduled for October 31.
The granddaughter was released to the custody of her parents.
