Hylton Hall's Owner Found Guilty on Maintenance Violations After Fire

Posted:

Danville, VA -- The owner of Hylton Hall has been found guilty of two maintenance violations Wednesday in Danville.

The building was destroyed last year from a fire. The city said the owner, Dave McCormack, needed to demolish or repair it. But McCormack said he needed more time.

Wednesday, a judge says he needs to correct the violations within six months. McCormack was also fined $200 for the violations.

They say if he does not correct the violations, the city plans to bring more violations against him.
