LEMOYNE, Pa. (WHTM) -

The manager of a Lemoyne restaurant has been arrested for indecently assaulting a 17-year-old employee, police said.

Vishnubhai Patel, 41, tried to kiss the girl and grabbed her below the waist when she asked him to stop, West Shore Regional police said.

Patel had called the girl to the back of the Subway, in the 400 block of Market Street, after she clocked out Wednesday, police said.

According to the criminal complaint, the girl said Patel grabbed her by the right hand and began kissing it. She pulled away and told him to stop, but he kept trying to get closer to her.

The girl told police that Patel then grabbed her around the waist, swatted her buttocks, and told her to kiss him numerous times, the complaint states.

He told the girl not to tell the owner and not to hate him, the complaint states. She said Patel knew she was a minor.

Patel, of Swatara Township, was arrested at the business and charged with indecent assault.

His bail at Cumberland County Prison was set at $50,000 cash, pending a preliminary hearing set for Sept. 18.

A Subway spokeswoman said he has been fired.
