2 busted with 53 jars of marijuana, police say

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM) -

Police investigating a report of a suspicious person in a suburban Harrisburg neighborhood ended up arresting two people on marijuana charges.

Susquehanna Township police said officers detected a strong odor of raw marijuana coming from a home in the 400 block of Cherrington Drive.

Authorities said they searched the home and found 53 mason jars filled with marijuana, $6650 in cash, and drug paraphernalia.

Amber Kristen Miller, 24, of Cherrington Drive, and Andrew Patrick Barket, 27, of New Cumberland, were each charged with possession with intent to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia and criminal conspiracy.

Miller was unable to post $200,000 bail and was sent to Dauphin County Prison. Barket was unable to post $300,000 bail and was also placed in the prison.
