After a weekend of wall-to-wall sunshine, it's back to reality. Both for the kids heading back to school, and the clouds returning to Central PA. Skies will remain mainly clear overnight, and even for the start of Monday, but expect increasing clouds as the day continues. By dusk, skies should be mostly cloudy with even a stray shower popping up toward the late evening hours. Before that, our temperatures will climb into the mid 80s along with increasing humidity.
The last full week of August will bring seasonal temperatures, if not slightly warmer than that. Temperatures will climb into the upper 80s by Thursday and Friday. A few showers look possible for Tuesday morning, and an even better shot for Wednesday. Still, don't expect any washouts with these weather systems, as they don't have much of a moisture source.
Early indications for the big Labor Day weekend: partly cloudy skies, with maybe a stray shower or two. Worth keep an eye on it if you have outdoor picnic plans. And who doesn't, as we say get ready to say goodbye to Summer 2013!
