A public hearing will be held Tuesday night in York County to discuss a proposed one million square foot trucking facility in Fairview Township.
Homeowners are concerned with property value, the environmental impact, and the effect hundreds of big rigs will have on I-83 traffic.
Signs of opposition are posted in lawns throughout the township.
The developer, Birtcher Goodman, said the facility could bring hundreds of jobs to the area along with $600,000 in annual tax revenue for the township.
Tuesday's hearing begins at 6 p.m. at the Fairview Fire Department.
