Jacob Slivinski, 25, of York was arrested Monday for driving almost 50 miles per hour over the speed limit in Dover Township.

Northern York County Regional Police say Slivinski was clocked driving 83 mph in a 35 mph zone on Carlisle Road.

When police pulled the dark colored Dodge Charger over, the operator of the vehicle stopped the car and began fleeing from police on foot.

Police say Slivinski ran through several front yards yelling, "Yee-haw" before being handcuffed in a yard near Church Road.

After being captured, police say Slivinski struggled with the officer and eventually headbutted the officer in the face.

Slivinski was arraigned for aggravated assault, resisting arrest, driving under the influence, driving under suspension and speeding.
