Roanoke Police Investigating Threats Allegedly Made By Student Against School Bus

Posted:

Roanoke, VA - Roanoke Police are investigating after they say a student made threats against a city school bus.

The investigation started last Thursday when someone called police to report some suspicious items found on Garden City Boulevard.

Police say there were two containers, and inside one was a glass jar holding fireworks and what they believe is a flammable liquid.

Police also say there was a letter that included threats to a school bus.

The letter was dated three days prior, and there have been no issues with any buses.

Police have identified a possible juvenile suspect.

Their investigation is still ongoing.
