Around 5:20 p.m. Thursday, a three vehicle crash shut down Route 30 for approximately three hours.

Officials say Charles Fournier, 46, of Quebec, lost control of his tractor-trailer and rear ended a vehicle driven by 61-year-old Alice Geib of Brownstown. The impact forced Geib's vehicle into a guard rail.

The tractor-trailer struck another vehicle, driven by Celeste Boyer, 42, of Ephrata and then caught on fire.

Boyer and Fournier were both treated for injuries.

The crash shut down Route 30 eastbound for approximately three hours.
