Rainfall from this morning did not add much to overall rain totals,
but it certainly helped to keep conditions moist. The high amount of
moisture in the atmosphere, plus a lot of sunshine to start the day has
raised the attention of the Storm Prediction Center in Norman, Oklahoma
which placed us in the risk area for gusty thunderstorms. We will be
watching how the radar evolves through the day and be posting updates.
Once the front clears later tonight the strong thunderstorm threat ends.
For Tuesday gradual clearing will take place leading to partly cloudy skies and much cooler conditions. Some backyards could drop as much as 10 to 15 degrees by tomorrow afternoon.
